Faith & Praises Music Group

Our Faith & Praises music group play and sing for all our Sunday Services at 10.30.

Children and Young People

On Sundays we have a crèche for the under 4’s at the 10.30am service. and this is held in the side chapel so that parents and carers can still take part in the service.
There is also Junior Church for the over 5’s. Children come into the main service first and then get together over in the Church Hall where they learn about the Christian Faith in a relevant way. Some of our teenagers help in Junior Church and others help in the Crèche. Some of our other activities below take place during term times. Contact Jenny [852110] for more info.

Storytime

First Thursday in the month 9.30-11.30. Bring your babies and tots to hear a great story and take part in a themed activity. Coffee/tea & chat for carers, toys and friends for the kids.

MOTHERS AND OTHERS Bible Study
Every Thursday morning 9.30—11.30 in the church hall. A time for mums and carers of pre-school children to discuss issues of life and faith. The children will be entertained in the crèche with activities, stories and singing while mums have tea/coffee and chat. Interested? Talk to Jenny or call her on 852110

Sticky Fingers meets every Monday in the Church Hall from 10.00 to 11.45am. This is an opportunity for babies and toddlers to play and carers to get together for a drink and a chat

Mothers Union We have two Mothers Union Groups. One meets on the 1st Wednesday - 2pm at Margaret Mitchell’s and the other on the 2nd Thursday at 7.30pm in the Church Hall.  Contact: Sue Critchley 851546

Home Groups

Home Groups meet during the week on various days and times. This gives us all the opportunity to meet together, learn more about the Christian faith, pray together and to maybe discuss topics of interest to the group or that are happening locally or on a wider scale.

All groups study the same course, usually over a period of 10 weeks or so. Its quite informal and the groups are very diverse, so there is usually something for everybody.
 
It has been our practice to come together during Lent where we look at a set module, but in different groups. This helps to give us a different perspective, enjoy fellowship with others in the church, and then over coffee and cake we talk through the evening’s topic together.

We are always ready to welcome people to all our groups and It is our aim to build new groups as our current ones grow.

Pizza, Perception & Prayer

This is a fledgling group of young people who get together on a Sunday evening at 7.30pm to look at the bible and discover how it relates to their lives today. More Information—852110!
