St Mary`s

Our Five Priorities as a Church

1—Praise, Worship and Prayer to God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

2—Unity and Fellowship within the Church

3—Encouraging and Building One Another up for God’s Service

4—Evangelism and Seeking to Make Disciples of Christ

5—Acts of Mercy and Good Works in the Community

St Mary’s Vision Statement

Our vision is for St Mary’s to be a beacon of light and hope in the local community.

As we seek to make disciples of Christ, we want our Church to be worshipping God, loving, welcoming and united as we grow in number and in spiritual maturity.
We will be active in the community and aim to reach out to all ages with the message of Jesus, using appealing ideas and activities, giving practical help and support where needed.
We look to be relevant in everything we do, using all opportunities to communicate with everyone in an appropriate way.

Our Goals for 2012

1.Reach out into the Community through a series of Social Events and improve links with community groups to understand the needs of the people of our Parish.
2.Provide a Pastoral Care plan for the Church Fellowship, that can be developed for the wider community.
3.Expand work with children & young people by setting up a ‘Messy Church’
